A CARRERA HYBRID car doesn’t have the same features as a slot car.
The HYBRID is a radio-controlled car controlled using a smartphone or tablet, and it doesn’t have a guide.
The scale is 1:50, compared to 1:43 for the GO and 1:32 or 1:24 for the 1:24 track. This makes the cars appear smaller. This surprised me a lot, and it’s worth highlighting the technical challenge of fitting more components into such a small car than a slot car. Add more sophisticated electronics, a power source to move the car, and a real (proportional) steering system to steer our car.

Vehicle precision and fragility
The Porsche 911 has a large rear wing and two mirrors. After several races, they are all intact. HYBRID cars are not as fast as road-going cars. No high-speed off-track accidents. No risk during the race. If you break something, it will be through clumsy handling or if you are playing on a table and it falls to the ground.
Recharging
To recharge the car, a USB-C port is located underneath. A charging cable is included with each car.
Charging time is approximately half an hour.
Wheel remover
A small tab with a “U” on one end is a tool for removing wheels and changing them if necessary.
It comes with every car.
2024 models
In 2024, the Porsche 911 will be available in several solid colors.
2025 models
New body styles for the BMW M4 GT3 and Ford Mustang GT3 will arrive in 2025. These new cars will all be available in a variety of racing liveries.
The CARRERA HYBRID benefits from CARRERA licenses. New this year is the “Ford Mustang GT3 ‘Ford Performance, No.64′” car available in Digital 132 (ref. 20032051), EVOLUTION (ref. 20027808), GO (ref. 20064278) and of course HYBRID (Ref. 50051019).

Storage boxes
To protect your car, you can use the cardboard box it came in. The cardboard box can hold the car, the wheel wrench, and the charging cable. This box fits perfectly into the HYBRID case.
Fans have also created protective boxes for vehicles. I printed one that looks like a container and allows charging with a system that integrates the charging cord.
