Carrera-fun.com is pleased to announce a new feature that has just arrived and that I’ve been thinking about for many years because it’s a missing feature on the site.
I’ve finally managed to make it a reality. It’s only in version 1 and will be improved and expanded over time.
Slot Track Architect has arrived on the site. An online road track editor.
In fact, it’s not just one editor, but four editors that are making their appearance on the site. Well, I’m cheating a little today because it’s three, the fourth will appear in a few days.
Slot Track Architect allows you to edit tracks:
- CARRERA FIRST
- CARRERA GO
- CARRERA HYBRID
- CARRERA D132 *

The editor is available in three languages: French, English, and German.

Principle
The editor is divided into two parts:
On the left, the track, which is drawn as you add rails.
On the right, the selector or configurator. Different tabs group the track families, and if you click on a track’s button, it is added to the drawing. All selected tracks are also added to the list on the right. You can delete a track by clicking on the red cross, but you can also move elements up and down. Of course, the drawing updates directly.
Below the track, a button allows you to download it in SVG format, and if necessary, you can easily edit it in Inkscape.
Slot Track Architect FIRST
The FIRST version is rather simple, as the FIRST range has few different tracks.
All three types of departures are covered: classic blue and black tracks, and the interactive blue version.
Curves and straights are also available in black, as was the case at the beginning of the range; otherwise, it’s the classic blue color.
Slot Track Architect GO
The GO version is currently only partially complete, with the main rails. More will be coming soon.
The R1 90° and 45° curves are supported, as well as the 45° banked curves.
As for straights, we have the starting line, as well as the three straights at 342, 114, and 100mm.
We will be adding more elements soon.
Slot Track Architect HYBRID
The HYBRID version is also part of the mix. Just released in France, the company is launching its next generation to make the most of the latest CARRERA range.
We’ll also find the R1 corners and straights on the starting line, which are already available.
But we’ve already integrated the next rails, which will arrive at the end of 2025.
Slot Track Architect D132
The D132 version, which will also cover the EVOLUTION and D124 ranges, will be coming soon. I would like this version to have a fairly limited selection of rails so that you don’t get frustrated.
