Carrera GO track stands

A few months ago, I presented the BBURAGO 1/43 scale pit box (https://www.carrera-fun.com/?p=8461), but my pit lane was too small. Today, two teams are joining the circuit and occupying two new garages. Let’s welcome McLaren and Mercedes, who are joining Red Bull in the pit lane.

As a reminder, in addition to miniature vehicles, BBurago offers 1/43 scale dioramas of pit stops from various racing teams under the names “pit stop” or “pit pass”.

The teams included are:

  • Red Bull
  • McLaren
  • Ferrari
  • Mercedes
  • Aston Martin

And that’s perfect timing, because Carrera offers the first four teams in its GO range.

No need to explain how to assemble the pit boxes; just refer to our previous article.

For this article, no further explanation is needed; numerous photos will allow you to see how the pit boxes look on the Carrera GO track.

The three pit boxes are set up, and there’s a real buzz among all the teams as they prepare for qualifying. The GO vehicles are on the track alongside the Formula 1 cars included with the pit boxes, complete with mechanics.

The McLaren team is still working on the car in front of the pit while the other teams have already brought their cars in to work out of sight.

The Red Bull Racing team is fine-tuning the final settings for tomorrow’s race.

At McLaren, the drivers have requested some changes, so they are working hard to gain a few hundredths of a second for the next race.

At Mercedes, the car is ready and the mechanics are putting away their tools.

Viewed from above, we can see the stands and we notice that the markings on the ground are of different colors in front of the stand.

The cars are on track ready for the formation lap before the start.

For the test, I made a small circuit, but I can’t wait to enlarge it and put down the grass mats to make it even more realistic.

If you’re a Formula 1 fan and enjoy racing regularly with your Carrera GO track, these pit stops are sure to please and will add a touch of style to your circuit. This article may have piqued your interest. Have fun racing, and may the fastest driver win!
