It works out much cheaper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, having different cars is nice. We can see that the cars behave differently on the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another advantage is that you can make a 4-lane circuit to play with 4 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Good deals<br><\/strong>During sales, it is possible to find circuits at -50%. For 30 to 40 euros, 2 cars plus rails. It&rsquo;s a good deal to complete your circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another good deal, some stores offer customer returns of defective products. It is thus possible to find circuits at -50% or more. You have to read the problem carefully. It can be a car, a controller or a power supply. As long as we complete our circuit, it does not matter. Recently I acquired 2 circuits which each had a defective controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Carrera GO and young children<\/strong><br>Young children aged 4-6 can play Carrera Go, however here are some tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>a little slower, cars with lights will avoid going off the track and will delight children (in the evening in the dark!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>avoid doing loops, young people have trouble getting the vehicle to pick up speed to pass it properly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>avoid making banked turns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>avoid using Formula 1 cars especially with crossings, the front wings of F1s are fragile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Lane changes and narrowing<\/strong><br>When 2 vehicles arrive at the same time on a lane change, it&rsquo;s an accident.<br>I noticed that inserting a narrowing just before allowed cars to hit each other and shift. This avoids many accidents while maintaining a spectacular side: touch + lane change<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"588\" height=\"75\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_001.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-86\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_001.png 588w, https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_001-300x38.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 588px) 100vw, 588px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Progressive turn<\/b><\/span><br>It&rsquo;s not easy to always slow down well at the end of a straight line, especially when you&rsquo;ve used the turbo for several meters.<br>In my 180\u00b0 at the end of a straight line, I insert a less steep portion of curve. This forgives arrivals a little too quickly.<br>The visual effect is also interesting because the vehicle enters the bend with a slight curve and suddenly seems to turn abruptly. This gives an effect of skidding or acceleration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"366\" height=\"299\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_002.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-87\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_002.png 366w, https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_002-300x245.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 366px) 100vw, 366px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><strong>The lap counters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing to do, this corner, you can&rsquo;t slow down and it&rsquo;s the road exit at each turn.<br>You are tired of getting up to put the car back on track.<br>The rev counter has the particularity of slowing down the car slightly.<br>If you have several rev counters, this is the ideal place to position them.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"465\" height=\"170\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_003.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-88\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_003.png 465w, https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_003-300x110.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 465px) 100vw, 465px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Face to face loop<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So that on a part of the circuit the cars cross face to face, here is a small plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> this only works with the first power rails because we can only power one track, otherwise, risk of short circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\" height=\"290\" src=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_004.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_004.png 525w, https:\/\/www.carrera-fun.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/astuce_004-300x166.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here are some tips I discovered while making circuits.
