We’ve already talked about the \u00ab\u00a0Extension Pack<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb sets, and here’s the Formula 1 version. The set contains a Ferrari and a Red Bull. Be aware that the CARRERA website doesn’t have any pictures and lists a Mercedes as the contents. Well, that’s incorrect; it’s definitely a Ferrari.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set also includes four 342mm straight sections, allowing you to extend your existing track by 1.36 meters. This gives you a longer straightaway, allowing you to further enjoy the potential of your new Formula 1 cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final item in the set is an arch, which, like a barrier, attaches to the track from one side to the other, creating a tunnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I mentioned in my article about another Expansion Pack, this set is significantly cheaper than buying all its contents separately, saving you approximately 45%.

In the CARRERA catalog, you’ll find two sets based on the same two Formula 1 cars.
If you already have a track and want to expand it, are interested in Formula 1, and are on a budget, this set is for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sets like the ones shown below are perfect for expanding your track with more track elements, as they are also much cheaper than buying the equivalent track accessories separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding our two Formula 1 cars, there’s no need to write a lengthy explanation; both are in line with previous Formula 1 cars in the GO range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to their extremely low center of gravity, these slot cars offer exceptional handling. This optimal grip allows them to combine high top speed with excellent stability in corners, surpassing the performance of other vehicle categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, be careful: with their prominent wings, these cars are prone to going off the track. Be vigilant, as these parts are fragile and you risk seriously damaging your cars in the event of an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just like the other Extension Packs, the Formula Racer Extension Pack is a great deal, a good compromise between buying accessories individually and a complete set. And what’s more, you get the vehicles from the latest Formula 1 season (2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
