For this still young range at CARRERA, we find new sets and accessories but above all new rails which will allow for even more winding circuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sets<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Last year, when the HYBRID wasn’t officially available in all countries, there were no new sets; this year, two new ones have appeared.<\/p>\n\n\n

50050007 : HyperDrive Fury<\/strong>
A simple oval, but with a few unique features.
Usually, the outer color of the track is blue (2024 sets), which means there are more right-hand curves. Here, we have more left-hand curves because the track runs in the opposite direction.
There are few straightaways because there are only four elements, and one of those elements is the starting line, while another is\u2026 a chicane!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The set includes two vehicles, but no more information than what’s shown on the box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For me, this track is the ideal set to expand an existing set at a lower cost, adding more cars, extending the track with left-hand curves, and including a chicane. Available in February 2026, I think this set will be a success.

While standard curves are 60\u00b0, these are half curves. This will allow for 90\u00b0 turns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

50052011: Bridge with 3 straight lines<\/strong>
This pack contains plastic elements that will raise a straight section of track by three elements, creating a bridge over another section of track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s a variation of the one found on the website of the inventor of the HYBRID system. www.sturmkind-shop.com\/<\/a>
Worth seeing, as there are no safety barriers on the bridge; do not attempt to go off the runway at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
