Virage relevé – Physique

Le virage relevé à un avantage par rapport au virage à plat, il est relevé!!!

La force centrifuge (en jaune sur notre schéma) n’est pas perpendiculaire par rapport à la voiture, l’angle d’inclinaison du virage atténue d’autant les effets de la force centrifuge car est dirigée vers la piste. Il est donc possible de prendre le virage plus vite.

 

 

Le cas extrême serait de mettre un looping à l’horizontal où la force centrifuge plaquerait la voiture à la piste. Mais attention, c’est la gravité qui risque de faire tomber votre voiture.
